About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients have a positive experience while resolving their accounts in a timely manner. You will be the primary point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service, and addressing their concerns with compassion and respect. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to patient inquiries and resolve their concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information about patient accounts, billing, and insurance.
  • Work closely with patients to resolve their issues, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Adhere to set schedules and handle time standards to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems and software.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • An Associate or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare organization or revenue cycle environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations, billing, and insurance processes.
