About Amazon's 3P Marketplace

Amazon's 3P marketplace is a platform where third-party sellers can list and sell their products to millions of customers worldwide. As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying and onboarding high-potential sellers to our platform, providing them with best practices and insights to help them succeed, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis and Insights: Develop a thorough understanding of the marketplace segment, seasonality, and global trends, and monitor competitor efforts to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Seller Acquisition and Onboarding: Identify, prospect, and acquire high-ability sellers to our platform through direct sales visits, events, and presentations.
  • Seller Enablement and Support: Guide sellers through sharing best practices of online selling, including data-driven insights that help them achieve high standards of delivery, customer experience, and business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to recognize and resolve seller issues, ensuring a seamless and successful experience for our customers.
  • Performance and Growth: Demonstrate achievement in exceeding income objectives using consultative and solutions-focused processes, and contribute to the growth and development of our 3P marketplace.

Primary Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Business Experience: 1-3 years of successful business-to-business sales experience, preferably in e-commerce, technology, retail, or FMCG industries.
  • Sales Achievement: Demonstrated achievement in exceeding income objectives using consultative and solutions-focused processes.
  • Communication and Presentation: Advanced conversation and presentation abilities, with a strong working understanding of Excel and MS Office programs.
  • Analytical and Quantitative Skills: Advanced analytical abilities and quantitative skills, with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and be enthusiastic about success and winning.
  • Commercial Enterprise Judgment: Remarkable commercial enterprise judgment with strong written and oral communication talents.

Preferred Qualifications

  • E-commerce Experience: 2+ years of e-commerce experience is a plus.
  • Consumer Electronics Experience: 3+ years of experience in the consumer electronics sector is a plus.
  • Direct Sales Experience: 3+ years of direct sales experience is a plus.
