About the Role: Senior Data Architect - Voice of the Customer Analytics
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to lead the transformation and innovation of our end-to-end Voice of the Customer method. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building a robust data model architecture to support advanced data processing and standardized metric definitions. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with product and process owners, subject matter specialists from Qualtrics, and the Agile team in Technology to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with utility teams to define, design, and capture business needs, and develop a deep understanding of Voice of the Customer methods to inform data-driven decisions.
- Design and build a robust data model architecture to support advanced data processing and standardized metric definitions, leveraging tools such as Qualtrics, Cornerstone, and large data platforms.
- Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python) to deliver innovative solutions ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Provide guidance to enhance competencies to drive efficiency in computing programs using the big data ecosystem.
- Lead customer insights evaluation and elaboration, design and development of software programs, and explore and build automation tools.
- Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and efficiency.
- Work closely with partners from GSN and AET to prioritize, define, enhance, and test data for various use cases as part of the VOC end-to-end strategy.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, Shell scripting languages, and development launch management and troubleshooting for data-driven projects for at least 3+ years.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Qualtrics and Cornerstone platforms.
- Knowledge of big data technologies, including HDFS, MapReduce, and Spark.
- Familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with data visualization tools and reporting.
