Job Overview

As an Account Manager, Commercial Insurance, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our clients and building strong relationships with producers and carriers. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing expert advice and guidance, and ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist producers in developing service plans for key accounts, ensuring that our clients receive tailored solutions that meet their unique needs.
  • Manage the renewal process according to agency procedures, ensuring timely and accurate renewals for our clients.
  • Complete servicing of accounts, including issuing certificates and auto ID cards, processing endorsements, audits, binders, and maintaining current status on all account activities.
  • Promptly invoice policies and other premium-bearing items, ensuring that our clients receive accurate and timely billing.
  • Review policies upon receipt, ensuring that they meet our clients' needs and that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Respond promptly to customers' questions and/or requests for assistance, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Review client contracts and make recommendations to producers, clients, and/or carriers if it's necessary to modify existing coverage to comply with contract provisions.
  • Communicate all necessary information to producers, clients, carriers, and other agency team members servicing the account, ensuring seamless collaboration and exceptional service.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Essential Qualifications

  • A valid driver's license.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A Property and Casualty Agent's license.
  • 3 or more years of Property/Casualty Commercial insurance experience.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree in a related field, such as business or insurance.
  • Additional insurance industry designations, such as CIC or CPCU.
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment.
