About the Role: Online English Tutor

As an Online English Tutor at Preply, you'll have the freedom to teach English online to students from diverse backgrounds and age groups, on your own schedule and at your own price. You'll be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering high-quality instruction, and helping students achieve their language learning goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English online to Preply students worldwide, using Preply's integrated calendar to schedule lessons and set your availability
• Create your own lesson plans or utilize Preply's curriculum to cater to students' needs and goals
• Access training and professional development opportunities through Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars to enhance your teaching skills
• Provide comprehensive materials and resources to support students' learning and track their progress
• Be energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful in your interactions with students, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment

Essential Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English, with a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
• A University degree or Certificate to teach English (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc.), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching
• Experience teaching one-on-one classes, preferably online, with proven results and a track record of student success
• A high-speed internet connection and a suitable workspace for online teaching

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with online language teaching platforms or educational software
