Job Summary

The Marketing and Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, and building lasting relationships with clients and partners. This role involves coordinating promotional activities, organizing and attending events, analyzing market trends, and driving the company's growth and expansion efforts. Reporting directly to the Principals of DRS, this position is a key driver of Workwarp's success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing strategies, budgets, and plans to meet set business targets and track progress through quantifiable metrics.
  • Manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, mail inserts, flyers, and promotional products.
  • Maintain and promote social media accounts to achieve local brand awareness.
  • Source advertising opportunities and place advertising in traditional and online media with a focus on local clientele, property managers, trades, and realtors.
  • Develop, maintain, and nurture long-term relationships with potential lead sources through cold-calling, scheduling, and attending regular client meetings and customer entertaining.
  • Increase customer review capture and implement strategies to drive customer engagement.
  • Attend local events for marketing opportunities, such as Chamber events and various local foundations.
  • Recruit qualified field employee candidates locally when needed.
  • Analyze industry trends and competitor activities within the mitigation industry to identify local marketing and employment opportunities.
  • Participate in local networking events and present unique marketing and awareness events and opportunities as they arise.
  • Meet with the Operations team weekly to ascertain their needs and track progress of new initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in marketing and business development, preferably in the mitigation industry.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices, including market research, analysis, and campaign execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities.
  • Proficiency in social media marketing and online advertising.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM software.
