**A Day in the Life**
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for:
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business partners, data scientists, and engineers, to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions
* Designing, developing, and maintaining complex data ingestion pipelines using a mix of local AWS services and Amazon internal tools and technologies
* Building and improving existing data ingestion pipelines to ensure they meet evolving business needs and adhere to corporate standards
* Developing and maintaining data structures and tools for internal and external partner use to manage and analyze data
* Performing code audits to ensure best practices are followed for ETL and data cleanliness, and providing guidance and support to colleagues and supporting teams
**About the Team**
The Ring Data Warehouse team is responsible for managing the integrated data repository for Ring. We collect and distribute data from various internal and external sources, which are used by various partners, including Ring Item design, Finance, Inventory network, Advertising, Customer service, and Sales data. We are committed to hiring talented individuals to join our team in one of the following locations:
* Hawthorne, CA, USA
**Essential Capabilities**
* 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data ingestion, warehousing, and ETL pipeline development
* Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization
* Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS services such as Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
**Preferred Capabilities**
* Experience with modern programming languages, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
* Experience with non-relational databases and data stores, including object storage, document stores, graph databases, and time-series databases
* Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data security best practices
