About the Role: Key Responsibilities

As a Distribution Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for a wide range of customer-centric activities. Your primary focus will be on providing top-notch service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Interacting with customers to address inquiries, concerns, and complaints regarding work orders, invoices, shipments, and inventory counts
  • Processing and inputting customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Generating stock reports to verify product availability and producing related paperwork for customer work orders
  • Coordinating special shipping requests with the Traffic and Operations Departments, expediting orders as necessary
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure service standards are met, including follow-up on outstanding issues
  • Verifying computer-generated invoices to ensure accurate billing and resolving any discrepancies
  • Preparing shipping and tracing information for customers, maintaining damage records and backorder logs
  • Communicating customer feedback to management, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Serving as a liaison between the warehouse, office, and customers, facilitating smooth account administration and resolving invoicing and credit issues
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date procedure manuals, detailing processing requirements for each account

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed as a Distribution Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Basic typing skills and familiarity with 10-key
  • Experience with shipping software systems, such as UPS and Federal Express
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and internal teams effectively
  • A customer-centric approach, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying facility conditions

Compensation and Benefits
