Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze complex data sets to meet non-functional and functional business requirements, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including re-engineering systems for greater flexibility, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.
  • Develop and maintain the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies.
  • Build analytical tools to leverage the data pipeline, providing meaningful insights into key business performance metrics, including operational efficiency and customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including data, design, product, and leadership teams, to address data-related technical issues and provide technical guidance.
  • Develop or modify equipment and technology to serve customer needs, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry trends.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as directed by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering science and technology, including the practical application of principles, methods, techniques, and equipment to the design and production of various products and services.
  • Proficiency in designing and developing technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models using relevant tools and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify complex problems and navigate related data to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills, with the ability to recognize patterns and connections between seemingly unrelated events.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders across different functions and levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in the aviation or transportation industry, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, and experience with data engineering tools and platforms.
