About the Role Purple Squirrel Creative Inc. is looking for a Visual Content Creator to produce dynamic video content for YouTube (long-form) and social media (short-form and Instagram). This role is ideal for someone who loves being behind the camera, setting up great shots, and helping bring creative ideas to life. ________________________________________ What You’ll Do • Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment (all equipment is in studio) • Film based on provided creative direction • Archive and index footage for editors • Create rough cuts to support post-production • Maintain studio space and production gear • Assist with social content creation across platforms ________________________________________ What We’re Looking For • Proficient with camera operation, lighting, and composition • Familiar with Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing tools • Organized, dependable, and collaborative • Able to work on-site ~30 hours per week in our Wallingford, CT studio ($25-$35hr.) Company DescriptionPurple Squirrel Creative (PSQ Creative) is a new media company started in 2023, focusing on automotive content specifically on ownership and culture. Founder Mel Yu is a 20+ years experienced Automotive Journalist and Analyst, with Partners who have extensive experience within the automotive media space. PSQ is currently in the midst of several interesting projects for clients and its own.
