We are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Learning Specialist to join our team, who will play a pivotal role in leading and supporting a team of up to 30 Customer Support Associates. As a Senior Learning Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for creating an optimal adult learning environment that fosters long-term success and drives business performance.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

The primary focus of this role is to provide an exceptional training experience that aligns with the blithequark mission and expectations. As a Senior Learning Specialist, you will be expected to:

  • Deliver programs of diverse modalities, including self-directed, instructor-led, virtual, and experiential learning, to engage Associates and drive learning outcomes.
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to identify training and coaching needs, and develop targeted solutions to address these needs.
  • Coach, develop, and manage the performance and engagement of Customer Support Associates, providing regular feedback and support to ensure their success.
  • Supervise structured learning metrics and oversee results for assigned territories and regions, ensuring that training programs are effective and impactful.
  • Conduct learning sessions on new processes, deliver various training courses, and maintain data and analysis through reports on Excel, as per business requirements.
  • Partner with operational stakeholders as a key point of contact for the Learning Experience team, driving initiatives and programs that continuously improve the training experience.
  • Identify and certify learning coaches, lead individual improvement projects to enhance business performance, and drive quality and learning metrics.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in training delivery roles, with a strong background in customer service or customer service-related work experience.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software.
  • Highly accurate and fluent in Japanese and English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work within a 24/7 x 365 days global team across a variety of time zones, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of adult learning, content design, and facilitation, with the ability to apply this knowledge to develop effective training programs.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Experience as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or related position, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality training programs.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to supervise multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong ability to multi-task, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
