Spanish Interpreter
About the position
Responsibilities
• Handle telephone calls on demand in a quiet home office.
• Translate Spanish/English conversations for a wide range of industries including Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial, Travel & Hospitality.
• Interpret conversations that may be simple, complex, or technical.
• Participate in video interpreting sessions as required.
Requirements
• Fluency in both Spanish and English.
• Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours a week with some flexibility in scheduling.
• Manual dexterity to type or write notes.
• Comfortable being on camera for video calls.
Nice-to-haves
• Previous experience in teaching or translation considered an asset.
