Senior Digital Project Manager

Orchard is a creative technology and digital agency united by a purpose to invent better outcomes through creativity and technology. We’re hiring a Senior Digital Project Manager with a strong technical focus to lead the delivery of complex, high-profile digital projects for consumer clients.

You’ll join our Project Management team and work closely with Account Direction, UX, Creative, and Technical leads to shape solutions, align delivery to business goals, and uphold technical excellence. This role spans new builds (websites, applications, multi-channel campaigns) as well as optimization and maintenance of existing platforms. You’ll drive clarity from requirements through delivery, champion quality, and help foster a culture of collaboration, integrity, curiosity, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead and deliver multiple concurrent digital projects across web, app, email, and display channels
  • Engage clients to gather detailed business and technical requirements; define scope and recommend best-fit solutions
  • Collaborate with UX, engineering, and creative teams to design scalable, efficient solutions that meet client objectives
  • Develop estimates/quotes and technical delivery approaches with UX, development, and creative leads
  • Create and maintain project documentation: scopes, technical specifications, risk registers, change logs, and training materials
  • Translate requirements into Epics and User Stories; prioritize and manage the product backlog
  • Plan and facilitate Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Provide transparent status, risks, mitigations, resource plans, and budget updates to stakeholders
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation using Workbook or similar project management tools
  • Coordinate testing and QA to ensure high product quality and readiness for release
  • Mentor and guide project teams; foster continuous learning and process improvement
  • 3+ years of digital project management in an agency or similar environment, At least 3 years in a technically focused senior project management role 
  • Strong technical aptitude with a solid understanding of web technologies and the digital development lifecycle
  • Agile delivery certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, Product Owner) or PRINCE2
  • Advanced backlog management and prioritization techniques; experience with scaled Agile environments
  • Familiarity with QA processes, test planning, and UAT coordination
  • Working knowledge of accessibility, SEO, and web analytics considerations
  • Exposure to common CMS and marketing platforms (e.g., Sitecore, Drupal, WordPress, Adobe, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
  • Exceptional organization, time management, multitasking, and attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency with Confluence, JIRA, and Workbook (or equivalent PM tools)
  • Proficiency with collaboration and facilitation tools (e.g., Miro, Figma, Slack) for cross-functional teamwork
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and client communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

A plus: Confluence, JIRA, and Workbook. Also, Scrum Master is an advantage.
