[Remote] (Freight & Logistics Sales) Account Executive / Business Development

They are seeking an Account Executive to drive sales growth and strengthen client relationships by providing domestic and international freight solutions.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for developing, managing new / existing accounts within a dynamic geographic territory.
• Possess a thorough understanding of the domestic and international transportation industry.
• Manage / grow existing client base, providing end-to-end domestic / international freight solutions.
• Develop new business through networking, prospecting, and referrals.
• Execute sales calls and other sales strategies that increase the pipeline and new landed business.
• Selling LTL Managed Transportation As A Service.
• Prospect, secure, and maintain a strong portfolio of customers within the transportation and logistics sector.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle—from initial prospecting through delivery and post-sale support.
Skills
• Experience as an account executive in the logistics/freight sectors
• Thorough understanding of the domestic and international transportation industry
• Ability to develop and manage new/existing accounts
• Experience in selling domestic and international freight services, including air, ocean, ground, customs brokerage, and specialized logistics solutions
• Experience in managing/growing an existing client base
• Ability to develop new business through networking, prospecting, and referrals
• Experience in executing sales calls and other sales strategies that increase the pipeline and new landed business
• Experience in selling LTL Managed Transportation As A Service
• Experience in prospecting, securing, and maintaining a strong portfolio of customers within the transportation and logistics sector
• Ability to manage the full sales lifecycle—from initial prospecting through delivery and post-sale support
• Cold-chain/reefer experience OR heavy haul/open deck experience
