Job Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional support to our customers via phone and email. You will be responsible for handling inbound service calls, resolving customer inquiries, and accurately capturing data using our loan processing systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound service calls from customers in a call center environment, delivering quality service and resolving customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, declined payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities, taking prompt action to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Prepare documents as needed to fulfill customer requests, maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer account information
  • Educate and counsel customers on account terms, ensuring they understand their obligations and options
  • Maintain and ensure accurate, up-to-date customer account information, forwarding delinquent accounts to the appropriate Collections Team for account management
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Previous telephone customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
  • Ability to perform accurate data input into a variety of software systems, maintaining attention to detail and ensuring data accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide courteous, knowledgeable, and professional customer service both in person and on the telephone
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • PC skills, including knowledge and use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Windows, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with our diverse customer base
  • Experience working in a call center environment, with a strong understanding of call center operations and metrics
  • Knowledge of loan processing systems and procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context
