Job Overview

The Non-Clinical Data Entry Specialist will play a vital role in processing, updating, and maintaining electronic and physical medical documentation, supporting compliance with Army, DoD, HIPAA, and cybersecurity regulations. The accuracy and timeliness of data entry will directly impact medical readiness classification (MRC) compliance, deployment eligibility, and overall force readiness. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for entering and updating medical documentation in blithequark databases, performing quality assurance checks on medical records and case files, and ensuring compliance with DoD and Army medical readiness documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and update medical documentation in blithequark databases with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on medical records and case files to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in preparing and formatting medical readiness reports to support informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Non-Clinical Case Management Team to ensure seamless data management and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and guidelines, adapting data entry processes as needed to maintain compliance.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Proficiency in DoD medical systems (MEDPROS, MODS, MEDCHART, PRT) or similar electronic health record systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive medical data securely, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Physical Demands and Work Schedule

The Non-Clinical Data Entry Specialist role requires:

  • Extended periods of computer-based data entry and documentation processing.
  • A hybrid work environment, with limited telework options and a primary work location at Raper Armory, Cheyenne, WY.
  • A part-time schedule, with 20 hours of work per week, and potential weekend support as required.

Clearance and License Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Be eligible for a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Pass a favorable background check per Army Directive 2014-05.
