Job Overview
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work remotely and provide top-notch customer service to our members who are seeking or utilizing our fitness programs. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our members, responding to their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to telephone calls from members, fitness clubs, and health plans in a professional, accurate, timely, and courteous manner.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all blithequark Fitness products and programs, providing answers to member questions and resolving issues in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Ascertain the nature of the call and record information in the appropriate system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate collection of necessary information, including member co-pays or payments when necessary, and forward documentation to the Research Team for follow-up if issues require additional action.
- Research unique questions using all available resources and refer difficult issues to the Supervisor for appropriate answers.
- Handle all issues requiring additional action within the necessary timeframes, managing time effectively to ensure calls are answered within required timeframes and appropriate follow-up is conducted in a timely manner.
- Attend and participate in meetings to discuss issues and foster teamwork among department personnel, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Respond to requests from other blithequark department personnel, contacting clubs and members as required, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards, adhering to blithequark's high standards of quality and customer service.
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, with a strong foundation in customer service and communication skills.
- 1 year of experience performing customer service duties required, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer experiences.
- Inbound call center experience preferred, with a strong understanding of call center operations and customer service principles.
- Experience in healthcare preferred, with a basic understanding of health and wellness concepts and terminology.
- Basic experience using Microsoft Office required, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, with a focus on fitness or health and wellness.
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong knowledge of fitness programs and services, with a passion for promoting healthy living and wellness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members, fitness clubs, and health plans.
