Job Overview
In this critical role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing top-notch service and support to ensure their travel experience is nothing short of exceptional. As an Airport Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for assisting passengers with their baggage, resolving issues with delayed, lost, or damaged items, and utilizing computer software to track and catalog luggage. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist passengers with their baggage pick-up, ensuring that they receive their luggage in a timely and efficient manner.
- Resolve issues with delayed, lost, or damaged items, providing empathetic and personalized support to our customers.
- Utilize computer software to track and catalog luggage, ensuring that our systems are up-to-date and accurate.
- Handle customer interactions with class, professionalism, and efficiency, providing exceptional service and support to our customers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Lift, carry, push, pull, and move items of 70 pounds and/or more regularly, and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces, ensuring that you can meet the physical demands of the role.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Be a local (in-state) resident, with a strong understanding of the local community and its needs.

- Have a valid In-State Driver’s License, ensuring that you can travel to and from work safely and efficiently.

- Be at least 18 years of age, demonstrating maturity and a commitment to personal responsibility.
- Have the authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986, ensuring that you can work legally and safely in our country.
- Complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security, demonstrating a commitment to safety and security.
- Be able to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs, and be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft, ensuring that you can meet the physical demands of the role.
- Be able to use radio equipment effectively, demonstrating strong communication and technical skills.
