Job Summary

As a Customer Service Supervisor at blithequark, you will bring your expertise and experience to our team, assisting the General Manager in overseeing employees in all aspects of the resort. Your flexibility, strong customer service skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the success of our operations. You will be responsible for maintaining a strong resort culture, following company values and mission, and ensuring a healthy and safe work environment for all employees and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assure all guests are cared for in compliance with company goals and expectations
  • Maintain a strong resort culture by following blithequark's Values and Mission
  • Ensure a healthy and safe work environment for all employees and guests
  • Empower employees to take responsibility for their roles and goals; delegate tasks and expect accountability and feedback
  • Follow all operational procedures as outlined in the blithequark Operations Manual
  • Be knowledgeable of all basic functions of the point-of-sale system
  • Open the building in the morning and ensure its security at closing when necessary
  • Feed/medicate dogs when necessary
  • Oversee all cleaning and disinfecting procedures
  • Be capable of performing any job requirement of any staff member except the owner/General Manager

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in pet boarding, luxury hospitality, or high-end retail. You should have outstanding interpersonal relationship-building and employee coaching and development skills, as well as the ability to remain calm under highly stressful and unexpected situations. Dependability, responsibility, and effective communication skills are also essential.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in pet boarding, luxury hospitality, or high-end retail
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship-building and employee coaching and development skills
  • Ability to remain calm under highly stressful and unexpected situations
  • Dependable and responsible
  • Effective communication skills with all types of people; ability to mediate and problem-solve

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a pet care or hospitality environment
  • Knowledge of pet behavior and body language
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems and operational procedures
  • Certifications or training in pet care or hospitality management
