Graduate Nursing Faculty Opportunities
We are seeking qualified candidates for adjunct faculty positions in our graduate nursing programs. Opportunities are available in both clinical and didactic teaching roles, depending on departmental needs and semester availability.
Clinical Faculty (Graduate Level)
We are currently seeking master's-prepared Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) with certification and at least one year of current clinical experience in one of the following areas:
• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
• Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)
• Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) (Online program)
Clinical faculty will oversee and evaluate graduate nursing students in clinical practice settings.
Didactic Faculty (Graduate Level)
We also welcome inquiries for adjunct faculty positions to teach didactic courses in our graduate core. Teaching availability may vary by semester. Candidates must:
• Hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., DNSc, or DNP)
• Be a registered nurse (RN) with current clinical experience
• Have prior teaching experience at the higher education level (preferred)
Additional Requirements for All Graduate Faculty Positions:
• Must be licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in New York State (NYS)
• Appropriate level of education based on rank and rate, determined by experience and qualifications
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are required
