Role Description

The Chat Support Associate role at blithequark is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join a dynamic team of professionals who are dedicated to providing world-class support to veterinary professionals. As a Chat Support Associate, you will be responsible for resolving complex support inquiries, troubleshooting software bugs and data issues, and providing exceptional customer service to blithequark's users. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to user inquiries via our ticketing software, providing timely and effective solutions to complex support issues
  • Recreate and document software bugs, submitting tickets to the engineering team for resolution
  • Investigate and resolve data issues, collaborating with the data engineering team as needed
  • Communicate with clinics and users to provide updates on issue resolution and gather additional information for investigation
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and explain scenarios and solutions in a clear and concise manner
  • Manage daily and weekly admin responsibilities, including proactive account management, item issue reports, item reviews, credit approvals, and more
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide feedback on feature requests and recommendations for enhancements to our tools
  • Work with vendor and industry partners to streamline communication and alerts between systems
  • Contribute to the development and expansion of processes to streamline support workflows and improve customer satisfaction

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique combination of technical, communication, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 1 year of relevant, technical-facing work experience
  • A 4-year college degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience in ticket support, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
  • Patience, compassion, and empathy when handling difficult situations, with a strong desire to help customers succeed
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple concurrent responsibilities
