Job Overview

This contract-to-hire position offers a unique chance to work 100% in-office, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience reading and understanding legal documents and contracts, with a strong preference for those familiar with Quorum Software. As a Contract Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of contract management processes, collaborating with multiple departments to drive success.

Core Responsibilities

  • Make changes relating to contracting parties, name changes, assignments, and other relevant updates
  • Prepare agreements, amendments, terminations, and contractual notices, ensuring compliance with company standards
  • Act as a liaison between multiple departments, facilitating communication and coordination regarding new contracts, agreements, changes, and other relevant matters
  • Ensure that documents are logged and tracked until they are completed, maintaining meticulous records and databases
  • Prepare contract briefs and update computer systems to reflect changes and updates in various systems, utilizing MS Office Suite and other software as required
  • Work with land leases, ROW agreements, and other land-related documents, demonstrating a strong understanding of legal and contractual terminology
  • Review and analyze files, performing other tasks as assigned by management, and contributing to process improvements and efficiency initiatives

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills, including:

  • A Bachelor's Degree preferred, or 2+ years of related experience in contract management, data entry, or a similar field
  • Proficient experience in MS Office Suite, with high-level proficiency in Excel, and the ability to learn new software and systems quickly
  • Experience with SharePoint and GIS would be a significant plus, as would familiarity with Quorum Software and other industry-specific tools
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
