Qualifications: What You Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you will need to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Hold a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Be comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and new technologies.
- Be able to stand, walk, and handle baggage for an eight-hour shift.
- Be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with other departments and flight crews.
- Be eligible to acquire and maintain necessary credentials for the position.
- Pass a background check and a pre-placement drug screen.
- Obtain position-specific clearances, which may include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal Service clearances.
- Be available to work day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays, with mandatory overtime possible based on operational needs.
- Be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Have the ability to obtain required training certifications and perform safety checks.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
- Demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance and meet our uniform and appearance standards.
- Be willing and able to work 100% on-site.
