**Experienced Technical Customer Support Representative – Gaming Industry Expert**

**Job Schedule:**
We're looking for a flexible and dedicated individual to join our team on a part-time schedule, working Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm CT. This schedule allows for a great work-life balance and enables you to focus on providing top-notch support to our customers during peak hours.
**Key Responsibilities:**
As a Technical Customer Support Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:
* Identifying, investigating, and resolving customer questions or problems with computer software and hardware
* Providing email, chat, and telephone support to end-users experiencing technical difficulties
* Applying knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems
* Guiding users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include the use of diagnostic tools and software and/or following verbal instructions
* Identifying and escalating support situations requiring urgent attention
* Tracking and routing support requests via our computerized ticketing system; thoroughly documenting resolutions
* Staying current with product upgrades, system information, and business updates
* Collaborating with other team members to research and resolve problems
* Performing other related duties as assigned
**Essential Qualifications:**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn an array of computer hardware and software
* A thorough understanding of computer software and hardware, including desktop computers, network devices, and peripherals
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
* A professional and pleasant telephone manner
* The ability to explain technical issues to technical and non-technical customers
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
* A willingness to have telephone conversations monitored for quality assurance
**Preferred Qualifications:**
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
* An Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field
* 2+ years of experience in customer technical support
