Position Highlights The School of Government & Public Policy (SGPP) in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS) is seeking applications for a Program Coordinator (Student Services Administration Professional) to support the management of student programming for undergraduate students and graduate students in our UArizona Online campus, which currently includes a BA Law, BA Political Science, BS Public Management & Policy, and MA International Security Studies. The successful candidate should work well in a fast-paced environment. They should be a self-starter with pro-active, professional communication and leadership talents. This position will coordinate regularly with the administrative, advising, and business staff in SGPP. The Student Services Administration Professional will collaborate with other SGPP staff and faculty and will provide primary support to the Director of the ISS Online Gradute Program. This position will be directly supervised by the SGPP Assistant Director of Operations.

Duties & Responsibilities Duties & Responsibilities
Curriculum & Enrollment Responsibilities (30%):
Maintain and update schedule of classes
Submit new courses, changes, and course deletions
Monitor student status, class enrollments, SCH, majors, enrollment trends, work with unit and business center on reports
Submit proposals for new majors, minors, certificates
Support curriculum committees and Director of Undergraduate Studies and Program Directors
Graduate Coordination Activities (50%):
Coordinate graduate student admission process to include processing applications, communication with applicants, admission letters, GradApp system management
Monitor students??? status, including course enrollment, leaves of absence, GradPath forms and graduation requirements, and assist students as necessary
Execute all administrative tasks associated with Online Graduate Programs
Coordinate grad student events such as recruitment, and orientation
Collaborate with Arizona Online, Career Services, and other university offices to ensure smooth operations of online programs
Maintain grad student files and handbooks
Provide administrative graduate support for future online graduate degree programs, as they are developed
Additional duties as assigned
Marketing Support & Student Outreach Responsibilities (20%):
Assist with the dissemination of program-wide communications with current students via dept listservs, social media, SGPP websites, and online student newsletters
Initiate and monitor program marketing needs and coordinate new outreach opportunities that encourage program growth
Respond to queries from current and prospective students and be able to provide program, academic, and other UA policy information
Contribute to SGPP student-centered events (e.g. Student recruitment, invited speakers, professional development opportunities, program informational sessions, award ceremonies, graduation, etc.)
Assist with undergraduate student summer orientation and events for online transfer students;
Attend and participate in the department???s undergraduate and graduate committees and team meetings

Ability to take initiative for tasks with little oversight and work well in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of UArizona student policies and procedures is encouraged
Skills in developing and maintaining positive working relationships and ability to interact effectively with a diverse array of individuals and groups
Knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, Qualtrics, UAccess Student, GradPath, Schedule, and Analytics
Knowledge of basic accounting/budgeting procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor???s degree
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Master???s degree in public admin, higher education, management, or related fields
- 3 or more years of Higher Ed experience with student programming
