Your Responsibilities



As Business Transformation Customer Insights you will play a key role in ensuring we achieve our 2030 Leap Ambitions by collecting quantitative and qualitative customer research and distilling insights that help answer our most challenging questions. In doing so this role will support the evolution of key parts of our business from an up-front, one-time purchase model to one in which cutting-edge technologies and services are sold with a recurring, renewable-license model. The Solutions as a Service (SaaS) model will help customers by lowering upfront costs, allowing them to pay for only what their operation needs, and ensuring our products continue to add value over time.



Within this role, you will:



  • Leads statistical research studies of the highest complexity for use by the Business Transformation team and partners throughout the enterprise, including primary, secondary, quantitative, and qualitative research

  • Identifies, solicits, and manages relationships with external market research and competitive intelligence vendors, consultants, and suppliers

  • Provides data interpretation advice and insight generation to decision makers

  • Uses market research to define Deere's Solutions as a Service (SaaS) customer segments in partnership with product teams

  • Collects necessary information to forecast customer demand elasticity for new-to-the-world products

  • Provides continuous coaching and support (in some cases lead) to strategic market research efforts across the Business Transformation Ecosystem and owns the planning and execution for the Business Transformation Customer Insights workstream

What Skills You Need



  • 5 or more years of market research experience for technology-driven, recurring revenue products

  • Ability to use statistical analysis & principles to make recommendations from data

  • Excellent communication, documentation, organizational and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative to build strong and productive relationships and communicate clearly to audiences of all levels

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
