Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join Mediavine as the Vice President of Commercial Data Strategy. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by harnessing the power of Mediavine?s publisher data to expand our addressable offerings. Your expertise will be essential in shaping our data-driven monetization strategies and fostering strong relationships with external partners in the market.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Lead the effort for Data Strategy & Partnerships at Mediavine, through commercial identity and addressability, data privacy, martech/adtech R&D audience activation/DMP/CDP/cleanroom, and data/adtech/identity ecosystem partnerships & integrations
  • Initiatives include building new monetizable data-driven products.
  • Data strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with Mediavine?s objectives and focuses on monetization.
  • Revenue optimization: Analyze data sets to identify revenue growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions. Collaborate with cross functional teams to create and implement data driven initiatives to increase revenue capabilities
  • Market research: Stay informed of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential areas for revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain external partnerships with data marketplaces, demand side partners and other data focused companies
  • Monitor performance of data driven initiatives and partnerships. Use Data analytics to assess effectiveness of various strategies and make data-backed recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Attend key industry events to promote our data strategy efforts, participating in thought leadership activities, such as but not limited to panels, presentations, and PR opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development on the positioning of our data product offering to drive revenue.
  • Travel up to 30%
Requirements

Location:
  • Applicants must be based in the United States
You Have:
  • 5+ years in ad tech data monetization and market facing roles
  • Deep knowledge of data privacy, martech/adtech, R&D audience activation, and data ecosystem partnerships & integrations
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets
  • Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth through data driven strategies
  • Ability to define revenue streams through analysis of data, identifying areas of opportunity and building out strategic revenue plans
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills with ability to convey concepts to both tech and non - tech stakeholders
  • In-depth knowledge of the ad tech industry, influencing key players, technologies and trends
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to translate data insights into business opportunities
  • Leadership qualities with a demonstrated ability to motivate and work with cross functional teams
  • Ability to cross collaborate with other functions
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a remote environment
