POSITION PROFILE



The Advanced Technical Support (ATS) employee provides technical support for Sales and Service during the pre-sales process and post-sales engagements for Commercial Print hardware, software and services complex solutions. ATS partners with the local sales and service representatives as well as Marketing, Development and Product Engineering to provide analysis, evaluation, testing and education that meets the customer?s needs.



Through demonstrated technical expertise, excellent communication skills and ability to manage complex issues, ATS supports system integration, pre-sales qualification testing, Proof of Concept, as well as application analysis. This role also includes the development and delivery of technical education to the field and sales communities specifically for cloud based / AWS software products for services and support.



ATS provides in-depth product support and critical situation support through direct support to the field as well as technical design inspection during Solution Assurance reviews. They are responsible for Skills transfer to the SSE (Systems Engineer) community as well as selected partners.



ATS must have a close working relationship with Development, Marketing, Partners, Sales and Ricoh?s customers and the ability to deliver quick and decisive technical updates and actions to resolve Ricoh Software; specifically, Ricoh cloud-based software applications related issues / concerns.



JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Support worldwide Ricoh customers through:

  • Pre-sales technical support to assist in closing business

  • Post-sales technical support

  • Software Trial Support

  • Proof of Concept

  • Sales / SSE Education development and delivery

  • Complex Solution Design

  • Acting as the primary interface between the field and Development for technical issues

Responsible for communicating directly with Ricoh sales and customers to:

  • Understand and document the current issue(s)

  • Evaluate, analyze, and test product solutions

  • Provide technical expertise and problem resolution

  • Provide technical guidance in Solutions Assurance reviews to ensure customer readiness for complex installations.

  • Participates in process improvements for the department.

  • Engages the internal escalation process to resolve customer issues as required.

  • Maintains support level knowledge of Ricoh product solutions for software assignments.

  • Provide technical support and possibly product demos to field solution specialists and Ricoh customers.

  • Create curriculum and training for use by our field personnel, as well as end customers.

  • Interface with Development, Marketing, Field Service and Field Sales.

  • Teach both local and remote technical software classes

Additional Pay Details:



Compensation range is $ 90,000 per annum to $111,000 per annum
