About the Role
In this opportunity as Associate Solutions Engineer you will:
- Act as an integral member of the Solutions Architecture Team alongside Solutions Analysts and Subject Matter Exports towards architecting a successful solution implementation.
- Evaluate and consolidate complex business requirements from multiple sources and prepare detailed functional specifications, including business requirements, flow charts, mapping, mockups, application rules, configuration, and acceptance criteria for integrations.
- Work closely with Developers responsible for the technical design, Quality Assurance, and Engagement Business Analysts, and customers to ensure requirements and design are completely understood.
- Assist with developing cost estimates associated with integration, data migration, and reporting solutions
- Assist with incorporating C-Track with other Thomson Reuters products where appropriate to maximize our solution offering to customers.
- Manage low to medium-complexity projects with a low level of supervision.
You?re a fit for the role of Associate Solutions Engineer if your background includes:
- Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience with databases, SQL, Microsoft EXCEL, programming, RestAPI, and Azure
- Knowledge of information technologies (fundamental concepts, systems, applications etc.) and the ability to quickly assimilate the CMS enterprise application.
- Prior knowledge of information systems, business administration, or records management, including course work in workflow analysis, flow charting and cost-benefit analysis
- Broad knowledge of software and system data integration
- Excellent communication (oral / written) skills and the ability to interact with multiple teams and customers in a diverse setting encompassing both technical and non-technical users.
- Experience managing external and internal relationships with customers, partners, and vendors to meet integration objectives.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states (CA, CO, CT, NV, WA) and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $53,900 - $100,100. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual?s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
