ANNUAL SALARY
Applications Developer II: $91,291.20 - $113,422.40
Applications Developer III: $98,883.20 - $122,886.40

TELEWORK/ON-SITE OPPORTUNITY
This position is eligible for a combination of telework and on-site work assignments. Telework must be completed from a pre-designated home-based location within the State of California and employees may be required to report on-site to address business needs.
Telework is at the sole discretion of the Court and may be rescinded with 48 hours' notice, based on needs of the Orange County Superior Court.
THE POSITION
The Court Technology Services (CTS) department is responsible for providing the court with proactive leadership in implementing and maintaining the court's network infrastructure, core business and departmental applications, as well as ensuring the security of the court's data and processes. CTS works with court leaders, judicial committees, the State Judicial Council Staff, justice agencies, court departments, vendors, and others to ensure the Court is fully supported by the appropriate levels of technology services.
Examples of Duties
Applications Developer II is the journey level classification in the Applications Developer series. The classification typically has full life cycle responsibilities for assigned applications and perform design, development, maintenance, and support duties for moderately complex systems or modules of larger scale, more complex systems. The Applications Developer II may also be assigned responsibility for ongoing maintenance and user support for stable, large-scale applications. The classification is responsible for carrying out assigned responsibilities in a manner which supports the Court in meeting its judicial, business process and information needs and requirements in an efficient, highly effective, customer-focused manner.

Applications Developer III is the advanced journey level classification in the Applications Developer series. The classification typically serves as a technical lead developer and performs advanced complex applications development projects. New application development assignments frequently involve the use of advanced technologies and an understanding of cross-platform/operating system integration and connectivity issues. The classification has significant interactions with managers in their user communities to provide advice and consulting on methods for achieving business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications
APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER II
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED equivalent -AND- three (3) years full-time (or equivalent) of progressively responsible experience in applications design and development.
APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER III
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED equivalent -AND- four (4) years full-time (or equivalent) of progressively responsible experience in applications design and development.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- At least two (2) years of experience with Angular version 6 or higher.
- Five (5) years of experience with Microsoft technologies such as: .NET Core 3.1/5, C#, MVC, WebAPI, Entity Framework, JavaScript, Bootstrap or CSS.
- Five (5) years of experience with design and development experience using SQL Server or Oracle database.
- Experience with cloud development, preferably Azure.
- Experience with Web services and microservice architecture.
- Experience with Angular/NativeScript.
- Experience with OpenID/Oath2 Security.
- Experience with Web API/Swagger.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology.
- Experience as a technical lead or project manager in medium to large scale development projects.

Selection Process

Step 3: Those candidates who are successful in the review/assessment may be placed on the eligible list. Placement on the eligible list is not a guarantee of interview or employment.
