This position resides on the Mission Systems Business Development Support Operations team and will lead the efforts to organize, execute & communicate the Mission Systems strategic objectives, campaigns, prioritized hardware & Mission attendees for our Mission Systems corporate tradeshows. This position is critical to our BD Operations support team, our executive leadership team and our corporate tradeshow team to ensure Mission Systems is appropriately represented at each tradeshow. This role will lead and coordinate across all Mission portfolios for the Tier 1/2 executive strategy sessions with the Business Development (BD) leadership team and functions as the tradeshow manager for the T3 Mission Systems tradeshows and special events.

Primary Responsibilities:

Leads the coordination and consolidation of inputs for the Mission Sys Tier 1 & 2 Executive Strategy Sessions from our leadership team

Works closely with the corporate tradeshow team to define trade show program requirements for Mission Systems. (Mission Sys Strategies, hardware, onsite meetings and attendees)

Coordinates the Mission Sys attendee lists and routes for approval up to the Mission ELT

Works with other organizations for select T1 & 2 tradeshows on meeting scheduling for all business areas attending the tradeshow; can be up to the President level of coordination

Performs as the tradeshow manager for Tier 3 tradeshows for Mission Sys Bus Development

Schedules all cadence meetings, secures exhibit space, executes attendee registrations, establishes show logistics & services, works with the 3rd party vendors to fulfill all show orders, ships required hardware and does the post event bill of lading for our Tier 3 tradeshows and special events

Works onsite at the actual tradeshow to ensure setup, show execution and tear down are successful for many T3 tradeshows

Must interface with all levels within the organization including individual contributors, subject matter experts, front-line management, and senior/executive leaders to accomplish objectives

Works under minimal supervision and is a leader to others. Determines objective of assignment, plans schedule and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives

Results oriented with ability to communicate effectively

Ability to deliver accurate project deliverables on time and within scope

Manage multiple events concurrently

Develops, manages and monitors individual show budgets

Travel to tradeshows as required

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

Must be a U.S. Citizen

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate?s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
