We are currently seeking a Sr. Staff Engineer, Digital to join our Digital, Robotics, and Enabling Technologies group in Weston, FL.

What You Will Do

As the Sr. Staff Engineer, Digital you will lead the technical aspects of software projects. More specifically you will be responsible for the following:

  • Closely partner with development team throughout the entire software development life cycle.
  • Work closely with local and international cross functional departments such as Operations, Systems Engineering, Quality, Testing and Suppliers to ensure all aspects of digital operations are maintained to Stryker and industry standards.
  • Participate in the conceptual design and development of highly automated, secure and scalable CI/CD environments to optimize application releases.
  • Manage the deployment of digital solutions
  • Implement change- and configuration management of IT infrastructure
  • Support implementation of security best practices for digital solutions
  • Facilitate integration of digital solutions into GQO and Commercial divisions.
  • Support creation of training material and user training as necessary
What you need

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering

10 years of relevant experience in the following areas:
  • Experience with infrastructure management and configuration (Ansible, Terraform, IaC, etc.)
  • Experience with containerization techniques and applications
  • Experience with Git, Github, Azure DevOps or other version control systems.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, etc.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud environments.
  • Good understanding of data privacy and cyber-security
  • You demonstrate a high level of commitment, user, and customer orientation paired with a solution-oriented and structure approach to your work
  • Experience with scripting or coding preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical device industry processes
$109,500 - $232,900 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 20%
