After more than six years of steady and rapid growth in international Chinese and English education, we now have over ten thousand students worldwide In 2022 we launched the exciting new Singapore Math Program. The program accommodates different student levels on basic Math learning requirements, and we are now expanding it to competition preparation classes.

About the Math Competition program:

Content: Teach courses based on the American Mathematical Competition to students in grade five, with most students being based in the USA.

Class Type:
  • One-on-one trial (25 minutes)
  • Group regular class (90 minutes) with 8-12 students per group class
Class Schedule:
  • One-on-one trial: flexible class schedule for prospective students to try out the service and meet the teacher;
  • Group regular class: fixed schedule classes with enrolled students, once a week, lasts 18 weeks for one semester in Spring and Autumn; 9 weeks for Summer and Winter camp.
  • *USA teaching peak time (4am-12pm and 5pm-11pm EST)
Curriculum: provided by LingoAce

Platform: LingoAce Online Classroom

Payment:
  • One-on-one trial: $40 USD per 30-minute class
  • Group regular class: $80 USD per hour, $120 USD per class (90 minutes).
The more group classes you take, the more stable your income could be (eg. one group class can earn up to $2160 USD for one semester)

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging lessons that cover all areas of AMC exam preparation;
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback and guidance to help students improve their skills and achieve their goals;
  • Use online platforms and tools to communicate with students, provide instruction, and deliver assessments;
  • Develop and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, majoring in Mathematics/Engineering/Science/Technology
  • Experience teaching AMC 8 or 10 and helping students prepare for the exams
  • English-speaker from the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, or New Zealand
  • Access to a reliable computer and high-speed internet connection

Preferred qualifications:
  • Strong background in mathematics, particularly in areas such as algebra, geometry, number theory, and combinatorics
  • Familiarity with the format and content of the AMC exams, as well as the strategies and techniques needed to solve challenging problems quickly and accurately
  • Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to work with students of different levels and learning styles
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
