Job title: 24 After School Support Teachers

Job description: Positions may be combined to allow 2-4 days per week as needed to support programming needs
30 minutes of planning for each 2 program sessions supported (up to 1 hr per week)

Reports to: Building Principal

Salary: $35.70 hr - EPER Pay

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be certified by the State of Delaware to teach
  • Experience with tutoring or teaching elementary school students preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Follows rules for a safety plan
  • Complete all record keeping (sign-in and dismissal, daily attendance, parent contact logs, etc.)
  • Reliable, punctual, and prepared to help facilitate the after school experience
  • Develop lesson plans and activities based on student data and needs
  • Successfully facilitate an educational process that promotes participation, enthusiasm, positive group interactions, SEL, and academic success
  • Support homework help, enrichment, and academic activities as needed
  • Attend Professional Learning to support after school programming
  • Additional duties as assigned by Site Coordinator, District Director, and Principal

Standard Requirements:
  • Favorable Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse Registry Check for the candidate who is offered employment
  • Tuberculin Test and physical
  • Mandatory Direct Deposit of paycheck
