Coach Mercer LLC is a newly researched-based provider for Academics, Wellness, and fitness in several communities, including before & after-school programs, summer camps, mental health counseling, and tutoring. We emphasize and reinforce a positive classroom culture by teaching the development of self-management, decision-making/problem-solving, self-awareness, and social awareness skills through sports, fitness, and activities. Our on-campus programs are offered at schools, making it convenient for parents, while allowing kids to stay in the safety of their school and participate in activities with friends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• To provide an enjoyable and safe sporting experience for an assigned group of youngsters while they learn individual and team game skills, sportsmanship, and fair play.
• Be responsible for all equipment.
• The ratio of students to Coach/Teacher is 12 to 1. (School will provide an assistant)
• Ability to develop positive relationships with students by teaching a variety of interacting and entertaining group sports and game classes virtually.
• Ability to demonstrate all appropriate movements, monitor the form of students, and the ability to offer corrections if an individual is not using the proper form.
• Communicate with the Site Director/ program Director daily.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass a background check and Child Care License
• One or more years of coaching experience.
• strong written and oral communication
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class, which may include, but is not limited to, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, running, crawling, and kneeling.
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Must have access to a device with internet access to connect with interactive platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Team, or Google Meet).
• Must be available from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm on Mondays-Fridays (can pick the days you want to work).
• Must love connecting with students in kindergarten-8th and possess a passion for working with them.
• Be able to be on your feet leading and instructing members for the duration of the practice.
• Must be dependable and have transportation to the assigned school.
• Must be able to work independently without supervision.

Compensation:

• The pay range is $50-$100 per hour.
• Must work 3:30-4:30 pm.
• Payday is every Friday.
• Christmas Bonus.
