Position Description Summary:

The George Washington University (GW) invites applications for a non-tenure-accruing contract faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) with a focus on electrical power and energy engineering to start as early as January 2024.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

This is primarily a teaching position and the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in both undergraduate and graduate teaching in electrical and computer engineering with a focus on power engineering ;enrich his/her teaching with laboratory development and assignments. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the departmental overall academic mission. Research and/or service responsibilities will be assigned as appropriate based on the faculty member's interests and department's needs. Candidates with teaching experience and/or industrial and government experience are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline by the time of appointment, and an ability to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels with a focus on power engineering.
