Job description: The Coker University Department of Sciences and Mathematics is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) or Clinical (Teaching) Assistant Professor of Biology, depending on qualifications, beginning January 2023. This position can either be a 9-month tenure-track position or a 10-month multi-year teaching position, with a competitive salary and benefits. This position reports to the Dean of the College of Humanities and Sciences.
Preferred qualifications include an earned Ph.D. in Biological Sciences for a tenure-track position; ABD or Master's degree (with 18 graduate hours in a biological field) will be considered for a clinical teaching position. The primary responsibilities of the position include face-to-face teaching assignments at the undergraduate level. There may be opportunities for online (credentialing preferred) and hybrid teaching.
