Pay is $51,600-$55,000 per year.
- Teach graduate-level courses in EdD with a 3-3 teaching load according to the flexible load policy, with an emphasis on either research or service. Research or service output needs to be assessed according to the flexible load policy.
- Willingness to adapt to diverse modalities in teaching and advising. Teach online, overseas, and Live Virtual. All courses are 8-week long, online or Live Virtual that require digital literacy competency on using Office 365, Canvas, Concourse, Zoom, and educational apps. Some students reside overseas and require evening and weekend hours for communication and mentorship.
- Collaborate with the EdD Director, faculty, and colleagues for grant applications, coursework development, research projects, presentations and publications.
- Be a team-player and participate in all the student-centered services and activities hosted by the EdD program.
- Assist the EdD Director with curriculum development & differentiation, implementation, assessment, and review; as well as recruitment, marketing, and hosting information sessions for prospective students.
- Work closely with the EdD Director for program growth in other countries and willingness to travel and work during break time, weekends, and evening hours.
- Develop new materials and assessments and differentiate content materials, as needed.
- Service to department, school, university, community, and professional associations.
This position will be subject to annual probationary review according to the guidelines set forth in Webster University's Faculty Handbook.

Minimum Qualifications
- An earned doctoral degree (PhD or EdD) in education-related disciplines (leadership, urban education, research methodology, technology or areas with market potential).
- A minimum of three academic publications at the time of application.
- Knowledge in ontology, epistemology, axiology, intersectionality, and reflexivity in research.
- Demonstrated academic credentials and scholarship in a variety of educational research methods, as evidenced in publications in peer-reviewed journals and books. Preferred hands-on knowledge of the utilization of JASP, SPSS, and R for applications of statistical packages in quantitative and mixed-methods research. Knowledge of survey research and the use of Qualtrics desirable.
- Operational knowledge with qualitative research, and critical pedagogy. Preferred utilization of NVivo, Dedoose, or MAXQDA, and other qualitative data analytical software.
- Research interest and experience in one of the following areas: anti-racist leadership in K-12 and higher education settings, technological transformations with Block Chain, VR/AR, Metaverse, and social media.
- Experience with professional conference presentations as evidenced in presentations at a peer-reviewed conference such as American Educational Research Association (AERA) convention and/or other reputable conference in the relevant discipline.
- Experience supervising dissertation or doctoral portfolio completion.
- Experience supervising overseas graduate students with diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge and experience with academic writing groups and monitoring writing projects at the graduate level.
- Professional membership with AERA, Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate (CPED), and/or other professional organizations.
