Job Description
Sussex County Community College is looking for qualified applicants to teach future sections in our Psychology program, including Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 - online, remote, and in person.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree or related degree in Psychology or related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications & Special Considerations; expertise in teaching, psychology, online/remote teaching, advanced certifications, or license, and a flexible schedule (morning, afternoon, and possible evening). Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills needed. 3+ years of applicable experience and prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.
The Learning Management System (LMS) that we use for our online and remote teaching is Canvas. Prior knowledge of Canvas or similar learning platform is preferred. Although not a requirement, strong technical and computer proficiency is recommended.
- Prior teaching experience and knowledge of online instruction strongly preferred.
- NJ, NY, and PA residence recommended.
- Availability to travel to campus when/if necessary.
