As a Principal Frontend Engineer on the team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of the platform, ensuring its performance, responsiveness, and overall user satisfaction. You will lead a team of frontend engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers to foster their growth. The ideal candidate is local to the Greater Boston area, has great communication skills, and is an outstanding leader

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in frontend development using React and TypeScript.
• Proven experience in mentoring and leading junior engineers, fostering their growth and skill development.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and design patterns.
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend tooling.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• A portfolio of previous frontend work or projects that demonstrate your skills and expertise.

Expected salary: $165000 - 200000 per year
