Job description: The Senior Exam Developer position is part of the University's electronic exam team which supports effective development and distribution of electronic exams using University supported applications.
The Senior Exam Developer provides direct supervision of electronic exam team personnel, oversight of the electronic exam processes, identifies opportunities for continuous quality improvement of processes, and supports the virtual proctoring processes. Additionally, the Senior Exam Developer works collaboratively with faculty members to create electronic exams, including transforming conventional, paper-based exams to electronic format for distribution, managing distribution of electronic exams to students, serving as the point of contact for faculty to troubleshoot electronic exams, and providing training in the use of the exam applications. The Senior Exam Developer works with individual faculty members to help ensure alignment of exam items with the learning goals and objectives being assessed; identifying effective electronic exam administration strategies. The Senior Exam Developer is expected to be highly proficient in using the electronic exam applications.
Qualifications
? Master?s degree required; a bachelor?s degree and significant work experience may be considered in lieu of a Master?s degree.
? 2 years of supervisory experience in a higher education academic learning environment; oversight of processes and continuous quality improvement or related activities.
? 4 years' related experience in academic learning environment using digital teaching and learning resources. Prefer experience working with distance higher education and/or providing front-line support for faculty teaching online.
? Demonstrated ability to provide troubleshooting support for faculty use of digital teaching and learning tools, such as a learning management system, exam software, or other instructional technologies.
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training to individuals and groups in person and virtually.
? Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, time management and organizational skills and attention to detail.
? Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects and staff simultaneously.
