St. Peter's School seeks a dedicated Teacher-Aide, part-time for the 2023-2024 school year. The teacher aide will work directly with students and teachers in the classrooms. Teacher Aides support the learning, language, therapy needs and socioemotional well-being of students so they can experience inclusive education the the least restrictive environment.

Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Displays a positive and professional attitude, good communication skills and ability to collaborate with peers.
  • Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school.
  • Promotes positive relationships and effective communication with administration, faculty, staff, students, and school families.
  • Demonstrates professional responsibility and maintains confidentiality, sound judgment, appropriate dress, and enforces Diocesan and school policies and general behavior.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

High School diploma

Teaching, child care or teacher aide experience

Ability to utilize technology for instruction and learning

Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
