Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include teaching Anatomy and Physiology, general biology courses for pre-health students and biology majors, and other courses as needed. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing department of exceptional educators, scholars, and students and offers the potential to take a leadership role in developing innovative curricula.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a PhD in Biology or closely related field, experience teaching large classes, the ability to work successfully in a team-teaching arrangement, and demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level utilizing active learning and innovative pedagogies.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates having at least two years of experience teaching university-level biology courses, and those who are familiar with the Canvas learning management system and the design and instruction of hybrid and online courses.
