JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Department of Psychology at The Pennsylvania State University ( ) invites applications for a Teaching Faculty of Psychology position (non-tenure-track faculty appointment) to begin either January 2024 or August 2024. This position will be filled at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or Teaching Professor.

Preference will be given to candidates able to teach courses in child/clinical psychology, in addition to core courses such as introductory psychology, research methods, and statistics. This position will include resident and online instruction and normal university service. These are full-time positions with a teaching load of three courses per semester during the academic year.

Previous teaching experience is preferred; candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Psychology (or related field) or have completed all the requirements of the Ph.D. by the appointment date. A background in Child/Clinical Psychology is critical.
