Position Summary
Indiana University East is seeking to fill a non-tenure-track Assistant Clinical Professor in School Psychology. This temporary academic position is grant-funded through the U.S. DOE Mental Health Service Professional Demonstration grant - a five-year grant that continues until December 31, 2027. The position is subject to annual review for reappointment and is contingent upon continued grant funding and program enrollment. The position would begin January 1, 2024. H-1B Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
The Assistant Clinical Professor will work as part of a multi-campus team and will be a part of a multi-campus-based across IU Kokomo and IU South Bend. Responsibilities will include:
- Teach graduate school psychology courses for a new Ed.S. School Psychology hybrid program. Courses will be hybrid and online, with local school-based placements.
- Assist in recruiting and advising school psychology graduate students.
- Provide clinical supervision to school psychology graduate students.
- Assist with the implementation of grant deliverables (e.g., experiential learning, career development, and professional mentoring) and data collection.
- Fulfill service and reporting responsibilities to the school and campus.
- Work collaboratively with faculty from other campuses and K-12 schools and agencies.

Basic Qualifications
- Ph.D., Ed.D., or ABD in School Psychology from an accredited institution. Applicants with an Ed.S. degree in School Psychology and significant experience in school psychology are encouraged to apply.
- School-based experience as a school psychologist, National Certification as a School Psychologist (NCSP), and/or licensure (or license-eligible) in Indiana.
