Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

Job Details:

Come work with a great team and support the care of newborns in the NICU.

This position will provide medical care for patients in the NICU in collaboration with or under the supervision of a neonatologist. Help teach our medical students, residents, and nursing staff neonatal resuscitation, performance of skilled procedures, and initial ventilator and other support management when a critically ill infant is admitted to the NICU. The individual in this role will also help develop the standard of nursing care / possible research activities as well as other duties assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Master?s degree in Nursing is required.
  • A current RN license from the State of Missouri is required.
  • A current ARNP license from the State of Missouri is required.
  • Two years experience in neonatology is required.
  • National certification as NNP (national exam) is required.
  • Demonstrated job-related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
