Salary: No less than $15.75 per hour based on verifiable similar experience per the negotiated PASS Agreement

Hours:

• Full Time: 7 hours per day
• 9 month position
• Monday - Friday

Description:

• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Assist students academically and socially
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and students
• Understanding of how to positively interact with students
• Willingness to learn basic curriculum application in small group settings
• Willingness to learn strategies to support English Learners
• Dedicated
• Strong understanding of child development
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent communications skills

Qualifications:

• One of the following State of Illinois Licenses registered in Will County: Paraprofessional (ELS(PARA)), Substitute (SUB), or Professional Educator License (PEL)
• College transcripts with 60+ credit hours or have passed the WorkKeys Assessment
• Fluent in Russian in order to assist Russian speaking students
