The Temporary Assistant to the Head Coach for Football supports the Head Football Coach with the management of administrative aspects of the football program. This position works with Athletics & Physical Education colleagues to perform administrative tasks and responsibilities, including but not limited to managing the Head Coach?s calendar, schedule, and office, producing and running team and staff meeting presentations, assisting in career services for the team, planning and coordinating community service events for the team, producing and posting all Cornell Football?s social media content, and composing and writing email updates to staff, alumni, and potential recruits. This position will require initiative, independent decision-making, and the ability to maintain confidentiality when appropriate. This position will also require occasional evening and weekend work, especially during the football season.

Pay Rate: $20.00-$23.00/hour

  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and anticipate needs of a program.
  • Effective interpersonal and customer service skills to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing with a variety of customers and be poised to serve as a good steward of the university.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office software programs.
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, X (Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Writing, proofreading, and editing experience.
