Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has an amazing opportunity for individuals who are passionate and devoted to creating training and development programs for employees by joining our Human Resources team as a Training and Development Specialist.
As our Training and Development Specialist, you will collaborate with various campus offices, subject matter experts, supervisors, staff, and faculty to identify, implement, and assess employee learning and development needs within the Institute. You will also provide and facilitate learning events and training opportunities for the campus community. Other duties as assigned to meet the Institute's business needs.
A bachelor's degree in communication, education, or human resources management and two to three years of experience in learning and development, organizational development, or a related field is required. Knowledge of adult learning principles is necessary. Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and delivery of quality face-to-face, blended, and/or online learning is essential. Advanced analytical and project/process management skills are necessary. Experience using collaboration tools/technologies, the ability to develop process documentation in both online and printed formats; and the ability to collaborate with technical staff to develop training and documentation suitable for non-technical individuals are required. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and/or use proprietary computer programs, evolving systems, and procedures is required.
