Position Description



The University of Mississippi's Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor or associate professor position beginning August 2024.



The Department has a need for an economist who specializes in law and economics, specifically whose research considers the importance of institutions and/or discrimination in labor markets. The candidate will teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as contribute to our undergraduate emphasis in law and economics and our 3+3 program with the law school.



A Ph.D. completed by August 2024, is expected.
